About to buy a Polo 6R

I'm about to purchase my first own car (sharing with my brother at the moment). Looking at a used Polo SE or Moda. Just out of interest, what sort of prices were those coming down to new? And what should I expect a used with about 15,000miles on the clock, 11-plate to cost? Wanted nimbus grey, but there seems to be way more black ones about.
Won't be doing too many mods on the outside / to the engine. Looking at the following so far:
GTI Grill (can't help myself - love the red strip)
MFSW
Pioneer AVIC-F9310BT (I swear by Pioneer)
Front DRLs
Alloys (probably sprayed grey/anthracite)
Any other suggestions?
Cheers

Price of new is about 15k after finance is all pay for. Wish I just got a older newer one now for about 8k to 9k. U may be looking at. Don't buy new. Just a waste of cash. I made that mistake.
But get a nice set of wheels. Debadge the back and nice set of HIDs with LED number plate lights and some pressed plates
That's only a few little mods if ya not looking to set some big ass wheels and slammed on its arse like mine lol

It all just depends on how much you want to spend on mods cause some of them cause end up being very expensive! You'll love the Polo though! Make sure if you do get nice alloys to get a set of lowering springs fitted too!

Well you could get a set of coils for about 300 fitted as well
That's how much mine was
How much is it for just the springs mate

Was £150 fitted and they are top quality springs

A good set of coils are much dearer :/

£150 to just fit the springs...you serious? Thats ridiculous! Mine where £40 to fit and got them for €140 which was about £110 back then

The price of old does look much better. Probably going to get a Moda. How much budge do you think there is on the list price of a used car from an approved VW dealer?

Deadly serious mate. I've rang seriously about 10 places and they all reckon it's a 3-4 hour job and the cheapest i've been quoted is £125! That doesn't include balancing afterwards. What did you say to your dealer when they fitted them?

It's 200 quid for fitting springs and dampers and 80 for just springs where I live and that's off some sketchy back street get up Luckily I know sumone with a ramp and a mechanic for a friend.

100% serious! The mechanic at the place told me to go down on the Saturday morning at 9 and it was finished by 10 and they even had my car washed! :L I dunno why your getting such high quotes, that's ridiculous :/ my friend said he would have done it for £20!

Was this at a proper VW dealer mate? I wouldn't have thought they would have gone anywhere near any parts that weren't OEM!

Yeah it's a proper VW dealer! I dunno how your finding it so hard to get it done for less than £100 at the most!

Can you retrofit something like the winter pack or convenience pack?
And how does £9100 for a 1.2 70BHP SE, registered May 2011 sound?
Cheers
