Hi guys,
I'm about to place an order on some BBS RS reps. They are 5x100 16" Deep Dish, and have a width of 8J All Round.
Will they fit my 2006 polo 9n3 (1.2) ??
Also the price of the (Brand New) reps are £350 posted from N.Ireland without tyre... Is that a good Price ?

Make : Volkswagen Model : Polo 5 Stud Year : 01> PCD : 5x100 Offset : 35 to 45 Bore : 57.1mm

I'd appreciate some advice...

Thanks

Thanks for the reply Pal.
I've just been updated by the seller, He's informed me that the wheels are ET-15...
Will they fit ?
If not, can I make them fit somehow ??

with ET 15 you will need big ass spacers :))

no spacers!

ET closet to zero (0) means that wheels sticks out more

I'd Probably get some stretched tyres on them.
Would I need spacers or not ?...or will they just fit straight on ??

the lower the ET figures are, the wider the wheels will be, so with ET15, you have to have wheelarches that are 10cm wider each side to stay within them :P

195/40 tyres would be great on 8x16!

you won't need spacers; that would only worsen the situation!

if they're 5x100 they will fit straight on!

ET15 is doable but the correct tyres and lows are required; people are pulling off (hard, but they do) 9x16 ET15

this guy has rs replica's which specs are: 8x16 ET 15 and 9X16 ET 20!he has 195/45 tyres

browse his gallery and see for yourself:

you can definitely run on ET15. the problem is pulling it off as a daily driver.
i'm pretty sure that with his setup, the tires are rubbing for every little bump.
i wonder if you can manage it with coilovers that have angle adjustment. I would rather go for 8x16/17'' with the correct ET and properly lowered, than having really really really wide wheels but having to keep it "high up" in the back to avoid rubbing too much.

interesting approach from that guy nevertheless.

These are 16" 8j et35 so would sit alot better and be just bolt on no more needed.

Think i might get a set, if i can find out about them fitting over 312mm brakes.
