UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

So the time has come to renew my PVW subscription, but Im not entirely sure whether i should bother renewing it and head down the fast car mag route instead. I've never read a single copy of Fast Car, so I dont know what sort of cars are usually featured some people have told me its abit like Max power, which i loathed. I Love VW's but I'm just abit bored of constantly reading about mk2's. What do you think I should do?

Fast Car magazine isn’t really any better or difference to Max Power and the title is a little bit deceiving
It mainly consists of hideously modified Corsa's & Saxo's with horrendous Ali G style bodykits yet are running with 1.0ltr engines so they are far from “Fast Cars”

You do get some nice cars in there though so it is worth looking at but I wouldn’t buy a 12 month subscription.
Craig's (Trottagti) VW Polo GTI is being featured in Fast Car very soon so it would definitely be worth buying that issue

The best car magazine out there was Redline but unfortunately they stopped producing that earlier this year

Yeah I had a quick flick through earlier, I wouldn't say it's horrendous, but it definitely could be better. Might just buy monthly, rather than subscribe annually. At least that way, i can choose which one i want.
