this might sound retarded, but did you check if there is any bottle stuck under the seat ? it happend to me once and it took me about 1 week before i realized, since i have the two door model and i was too lazy to check from the other side.
8 or 10mm spline tool losten whatever bolts u can get to in the runners tthen it mite wiggle down the runner to take the other 2 off once its upside down u can look at it.... If that makes sense lol
I put the seat forwards into the position so people could get in, put my feet on either side and gave it some pasty and it moved back now moves freely and locks into place properly! Brute force ftw!
