Noob 1st Post - Adding Bluetooth?

Hi All

Great forums, learnt a lot already reading back through many posts.

Just picked up our 'sporty' 1.2 Moda this morning :) I want to add bluetooth and the dealer showed us some touchscreen add on thing at £230 fitted. I can get a basic Parrot for around £100 but I've seen a BT module on eBay that looks like it would be a much nicer way to do it. This is our radio - I think it's a RCD310 ? Yes?

This is the module on eBay but it only lists the 'RNS310' as compatible (is that one with Nav?).

Anyway, is there a way to add BT to the RCD310 or are we faced with either changing it to something better or adding a 3rd party unit?

Thanks

Thanks Boyracer_2011 - I notice that video uses a MFSW, which ours doesn't have - is it required or can it be controlled for the RCD310 alone?

Will get some picks up nce we get the Boavistas on :)

mashmarriner - It's affectionately known as 'the lawn mower' in our house already - mostly due to the weezy 3 cylinder soundtrack :)

My mrs traded in a Mk5 Golf GTi with DSG for this - so it's a bit of a change of pace (we have a daughter almost ready to learn to drive hence the change to a very low insurance group manual).

Have to say though, I love the wee car. It looks fantastic and is the usual VW quality.

Alternatively, if you don't have VW's sat nav, you can get a TomTom with bluetooth and run your phone through that with ease...
