Electrical Faults!

Hi! New to this forum but owned V-dubs for 20 odd years. I own a 2009 (59) Polo 1.2 60ps S.
The other day, a van completley cut me up on a roundabout so I papped the horn. It worked once briefly but then stopped working. Whenever you hit the horn, you hear the switch but nothing else and it has not worked since.
A couple of days later, a warning light came up on the dashboard saying that a bulb has gone somewhere on the car. So I checked all the bulbs and none are blown.
I checked the fuses in the fuse box and on top of the battery and all are fine.
I was'nt sure if the two problems are related or not.
Does anybody have a map of the fuses as I don't have one in the logbook-long story!
Has anybody had the same problem or any advive. Cheers!
