Hello.

What are my options with regards to lowering on my 2009 Polo 1.4 TDi. Ideally would like coilovers but not sure what springs/shocks are about for my car. I've looked on ebay etc but it mentions 6n, 9n which I have no clue which they are. I guess mine is a 9n3.

What are recommended, and how much am I looking at? Not too clued up on Polo suspension kits, came from a Clio background and know that they ranged from cheap sets at £180ish up to £1k for AST.

Also, I am after an alloy wheel configurator as I am looking at buying some lime green Rota's once suspension is done.

Yes your polo will be a 9N3, so you will need to look at ones for that model,

Mine is lowered on FK Higsport Coilovers, which give it a little bit of spring too, and there middle of the road price, but there are some budget ones on ebay,

Looks real smart that, mate. I guess it's not all the way down? Also, do those on yours fit all models, or are the ones you linked me for TDi only?

Do you know how much I would be looking at for fitting? Is fitting coilovers any more difficult than changing springs/shocks?

Sorry for not replying for ages, have been on holiday, erm no they should fit all models for the 9n3 I think, no mine aren't all the way down due to driving 35 miles each way to work daily haha, but these were already fitted when I bought it, but they shouldn't be hard to fit, but there has to be a guide somewhere on here it your stuck

Here is mine on AP Coilovers The rear somewhat don't go as low as the FK's but I am pretty happy with my right height. Scrubs a bit on the front but need to sort of the tyres....

The fronts still have 40mm of thread left.......

I have actually fitted a mini aerial , forgot to mention it. Lol. On in the pic above.

Yeah, do you think I'll need spacers on when the coilovers are on with my standard 15's?
