Why?

I am not really sure i want to do this. But oh well. No car is for keeps where i am concerned.

At this point in my life, what i am actually hankering for is a really nice T4/T5 camper for holidays away with the wife and our 2 dogs. And am setting out to get one. While also planning to keep another cheaper dub as a daily and eventually buy a GTI of some kind, or R32 as a luxury.

The Polo is a great car and never fails to impress me, and shock cars that dont realise what the little pocket rocket is made of.

The Car

I had the car detailed by Detail My Ride in March of this year. They did a great job. It was only an enhancement detail, aimed at removing dealer swirls.

• Candy White 6R Polo GTI - June 2011 registered (11 plate) - currently on my cherished plate (which will be removed)
• 8500 miles - First service carried out by VW as part of Das Welt used car programme, at 5200 miles approx
• 6 months tax till 31st December
• 2 years of dealer warranty remaining

Options

The car was well specified from new, with the dealer ticking almost all the boxes. These include:

• Sensor Pack (Rear parking sensors & cruise control)
• Convenience Pack (Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror and Rain Sensor)
• Winter Pack (Heated seats & headlight washers)
• Multifunction Steering Wheel
• Factory Rear Tinted Windows
• Cornering Fog Lights

Modifications

• Super Pro Lower Engine Steady Bush (Race version)
• Gulfstream Foot Rest to match pedals
• Silver indicators

Bad Points

There are a couple of minor stone chips on the front end. But very hard to spot. The NSF wheel has a very very minor kerb mark. This was on the car when i purchased it. I went over the car carefully, and didnt even spot it. Sometimes i even forget its there until i clean the car.

Note: I am in absolutely no rush to sell. Reasons for sale are not financial. I just really want to get a T4. If the car has no interest, i have no problems in keeping it cause its such a great little car.

Bump. Great option for someone that wants a loved Polo GTI with a good spec. Some great loan deals about at the moment at 6% (Tesco bank), far cheaper than dealer car finance.

The car has already taken a hit on depreciation. My local VW dealer is currently selling a totally standard Candy white Polo GTI with 11k miles for £16k.

It was. Standard springs refitted and RCD310 now supplied. RNS/Springs available separately.

Is that dead foot pedal standard or did it come from anouther car?

No, it is aftermarket.

The GTI is now back on its standard plate, so ready for sale. Come and get it. Bargain!!!
