Havent serviced it yet, my service indicator came and popped up today
just wanted to ask, what products do you guys recommend and have used for everything?
Im talking about, spark plugs, oils, the lot basically. First time i've owned a car so a little cautious on what to buy.

Tried to do some research. This is what i've found so far on euro. Are these parts going to be fine?
Obviously the only thing im missing is engine oil, gearbox oil and brake fluid. But other than that are these products fine?
Is there anything that you'd recommend instead of what im using there? i dont mind spending a bit of extra money as i know it'll last longer. cheers.
Total of parts so far comes to £34.14

thanks for that code, appreciate that.
Also, by the looks of things i think it is for 4 spark plugs mate :-/.
Im not sure if im doing something wrong, now that i come to think of it, does seem fairly cheap...but am unsure
How much does it usually cost?

Ah i thought it was me, thanks anyway mate for clarifying that its the right stuff. Is there anything better you'd recommend for the plugs? are the NGK ones on euro any good? i think i remember reading somewhere to stay away from NGK
Also is there if you can let me know what you'd recommend for the oils? as my oil is very low atm and need it asap.

Personally, I'll only ever use ngk for plugs but that's just my preference.

NGK plugs are absolutely fine, they are the best all round plug IMO
Alternatively you could get a set of bosch plugs which are also very good for german cars

As for the Oil 10W40 Quantum Synta will be perfect (it's the oil VW supply)

Finally bought all the service items today.
After taking into account the responses, i decided to opt out for the NGK spark plugs instead...
Here is the total list of the things i bought:
NGK Spark Plugs-BKUR6ET-10
Pollen Filter
Fuel Filter
Oil Filter (Original VW Part 8) )
Air Filter
Castrol Magnatec 10W40 Engine oil 5L (Had to buy the 4L bottle then an extra 1L separate)
Triple QX 75W90 Gear Oil 5L

This all came to a total of £62.82.
Let me know what you guys think, Have i bought the right stuff in terms of the Oil and Spark plugs?
And as for the spark plugs, would the Bosch Super 4 of been better for my car?

Car got serviced today... Does drive a lot better now.
Most notable difference is my gearbox, my gears shift a lot more smoother than before. So anyone getting noises as there shifting gears, i'd recommend changing the oil.
Problems:
Need a new rocker cover gasket. All the spark plugs were covered in oil and there was oil inside the holes..
Needs the cam belt replaced as i could see little cracks forming between the grooves, so i think its time it gets placed now.
Needs a new sump seal as that's leaking oil too.
