Improved Handling for the GTi

Can anyone please give me their views on whether they believe a strut brace will improve handling of the gti. Before I had the Polo I had a 106 which handled superbly just like a go-kart

I'm looking for something cheap that is noticeable when driving. Also, would fitting rear spacers give the car better handling?
Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!

suspetion upgrade is a must. stiffer suspention and a lower meaning of gravity.

springs and dampers or coilovers are the watyy to go, also the pressures of you tyres seem to give an effect of handleing

eibach anti roll bars are superb and very noticeable improvement even with standard shocks and springs.

A strut brace won't do anything unless you've already uprated your springs, dampers, anti-roll bars and tyres imho

I've got the eibach anti roll bar and an adjustable top front strut brace and a rear top strut brace. The roll bar makes the only real difference as the front turrets are so near to the structure below the windscreen its not really effective. More affective in cars that have there turrets in the middle of the engine bay if you catch my drift. Does make the engine bay look good though! A top rear one would probably benefit you more being a hatchback and all but remember you'll loose boot space. Make sure to get aluminium ones if you are going for it as steel adds s**t load of weight!
