Cute trick to fix duff leccy window

Just bought a MK!V and drivers window does not work so, using confidence gained from here I gently attacked me door card.
Just as you said, unscrew this and click-off this and that.
Removed the swith from dash and tested for power, cleaned the manky connections, listened for relays etc.
Door card off, speaker pod off, gently prised off the foam cover and.........................
No motor, no mechanism and window jammed closed with a piece of wood.
It would be rude NOT to laugh.
Had to share it with you guys
