Drivers door adjustment (under warranty)

Do you think i can get the striker plate for my drivers door lock adjusted under warranty? As when you look down the side of the car the door sits further out at the handle end than the passenger side. Not by alot but it is noticable 
You only get 6 months or 6ooo miles for adjustments under warranty 
Just got in time. Door is out by about 1mm - 1/12mm
