rear brake calipers on a 2006 gti

hello everyone,

had my back brake pads done today and the mechanic told me the caliper on my drivers rear is nearly siezed doh!!!

what i am needing to know is what other vw/audi calipers are a straight fit?? or would i just be better buying a new red gti one??

its a 2006 polo gti

if you want the same size, TDi 130Hp models or TDi150Hp and also the ones from the Cupra D.
maybe you can find them second hand or so? won't cost that much.

if you want slightly bigger take the ones from a TT225Hp. (1st model TT)
but it's recommended to upgrade the fronts as well.
it's not that wise to put bigger rear brakes and keep the front ones stock... while driving sporty it can get the car out of it's balance.
so for safety reasons i suggest the stock ones, they will also be the cheapest solution.
if you upgrade, do the fronts and keep rear stock or do both.
