Coilovers advice

Hey guys, Just recieved my coilovers and have been informed that these are slightly different to a few 6R lads i know, the difference is the support linkage on the front struts where mine is a straight bar across, was just wondering if anyone has fitted these to their 6R's, I've also been told if i got shorter links it will fit nicely then...
