Hi, I have been searching through 100's of pages and can't seem to find much info on, window conversions. I was just wondering what I would need as I have already purchased some parts and am eager to get started. I think I have the all the bits I need but could someone please list them as I want to make certain. :)
This is going to be my first mod and I am doing it because my manual regulator has packed up.
Many thanks
James :)

I have already got both regs and motors, and the drivers and passenger side looms, door cards and the switches. I'm not sure what else I need, if I need anything else. I thought about one of these kits, but wanted to fit the genuine VW parts :)
Thanks for your responses and please could someone let me know f I have all tr parts I need for a successful conversion :)

That should be it. Youll just have to fit it, and connect it all up appropriately - the haynes manual has a reasonably good diagram of the loom.

i got told that you need the whole wiring loom aswell as the door looms :S ?

if you just need the door looms i might have to do this myself :)

It depends on the route you go down

The electric window motors should work on the principle of power, and switch connections

They do interface to the central management of the car, but I cant see this being needed in order for them to work.
