New polo Gti

Hey guys
I'm thinking of buying a brand new Polo Gti.
I test drove one yesterday, and I can safely say it was fantastic!
I'm driving a Renaultsport clio 172 at the moment, I'm also looking at a Corsa vxr, Fabia Vrs, and a Clio 200.
I'm not really interested in to 200 anymore as the interior is soooooooo dull, the salesman was useless, and I don't necessarily need the track handling pedigree of the clio, as I don't do much track driving to warrant one.
The vauxhall was good, but will depreciate so fast, and is a bitin your face, but it does have the recaros, and the 100,000mile warrantee.
The Fabia might just be a cheaper alternative to the polo.
Having never driven an automatic car before, the Polo Gti was the best automatic car to try.
I loved the instant power and torque of the TSI unit, even pulling in 7th from low revs.
As for the gearbox, I thought it was fantastic, it only took a little while for me to stop reaching for the gear stick and the clutch pedal when slowing down.
But I loved changing with the paddle shifters, the gearbox was even helpful when slowing down, changing down for me at a junction, and changing up if it was too close to the redline.
How is everyone getting on with the Polo Gti?
I've read about the oil consumption issues, and dsg issues, they havn't put me off yet, but it is a worry.
Although I'm still unsure about making the jump to dsg, I'd love to hear from some owners.
