Hi,

I have tracked a water leak in my passenger footwell down to a black box under the dash which I assume is the cabin filter - it only leaks when there is heavy rain.

How do I open the filter box and is it worth removing the scuttle panel to investigate further?

Why would this leak?

Here's a photo to help explain, tis was taken from the passenger footwell looking up:

The two parts that go horizontal (from the picture - top left and bottom left) slide in towards each other which pulls the cover off, and the cabin filter just slides out, it sits in a plastic holder

Hmm thanks for that, it may bre coming from higher up then.

Anyone know where it could be coming in by the scuttle panrl?
