*another stupid question*
just got a strut brace kit and was wondering where the lower brace bolts to?
does it bolt to the (sorry i dont know the proper name  )steering arms (?) i thought it would bolt to the chasis but the only place it fits is on the steering arms that..well..steer the wheels (lol)
just want to make sure im right before i start pulling my car apart.
im guessing this is a car off the ground job to make sure the arms dont collapse when you loosen the bolts?
thanks
dave

Look under your car and locate the Anti-Roll Bar. Its that black kinda U shaped bar that does from one wheel to the other, thats nearer the front of the car.

Follow the bar, and just before it goes into the little rubber bushes before it reaches the wheel, you will seea drilled hole. Both sides have this pre-drilled hole and this is where the lower brace is located.

If you can't understand a word of what I say (which is likely) give us a shout and I will get some pics for you.

What type of brace have you got ?

The lower front strut braces bolt between the inner track control arm mounts. You might need longer bolts.

The brace bars (like you get off Ged) bolt just infront of the anti-roll bar through two holes.

Yeah, I was talking about Geds custom made ones. If you have one of these, as said, they go on the holes on the front of the ARB.
