polo engine conversion

hi there dont know if any one can help me but a friend with a mk4 polo has asked me to look in to engine conversions for him i want to know if a 2.2l audi engine will fit, i know it wont be easy but is it possable??

It might be worth phoneing someone like TSR Performance theyll know what goes and what dosnt
