As others have said get some pics up and start a thread if you start doing anything, good way to help / inspire others and also pick up a few ideas yourself from other guys build threads.

I personally have a 6R GTi and have come from quite a background of VAG metal including a Mk5 Golf GTi and R32, a Mk1 and Mk2 Audi TT and recently a Mk6 Golf GT (R Rep), and the Polo hasn't disappointed at all. In fact it has exceeded my expectations and on the whole been a much better car than my Mk6 was, so that says all you need to know really.

Very good car for modifying, either with a small budget or big, there are loads of little touches you can do fairly cheaply that can make it stand out from the crowd.

Gotta be 3 doors! same amount of whores but get to feed the pony as they get in the back.

I hate the 5 door. VW gave me one as a courtesy car when mine was in. Awkward to get in if you're over 5 foot tall... look worse... heavier... 3 door every time!
