Im still in search of a car which fits my idea of what Im looking for but there is little to choose from. I missed an excellent on at a Ford dealer in Scotland last week but hey ho.

So just to help what factory options on your car are must haves in owners opinions?

All Gti have a multifunction wheel

Just that some don't have the buttons, which can be added easily (I can supply new sets for around £60)

I would say Cruise control if your doing long journey to work etc
can also be retrofitted

I can see why people do order new ones to their own spec!!!. Finding one with the desired spec is a nightmare. Its certainly not like finding a Ford Focus...........or a golf gti for that matter!!!
