Right I'm going to get these new wheels specs are 7.5j 17s. And would like to know what the best size tyres are for this wheel. I am running AP coilies fully down adjusters out at rear just spring and front can go down some more. Just dont want them to rub on full lock or look too lower profile where the arches dont fill them up.

Many thanks.

Pics would be good if anyone running 17s

i run 205 40 17 on my 7.5j cup rims.

a 215 will rub over bumps as mine already catches the inner arch at the fronts on 205's.

195-40-17

That's what I have for both my sets of 7.5x17 wheels and what I ran previously on the TT Comps.

Yeah they were the Toyo PX4's.

But after using Conti's contact 2's and 3's I would never go back to Toyo.
Much better grip in the wet and dry

I have just brought new tyers and also run 205- 40 -17, they are mitchelin poilot sport 3 and they also rub a little cause they have an extra bit or rubber on the wall to protect the rim. I have had these on all my cars and would recomend them to any one!.

It is on coilovers and they are on a low setting i will be able to let you know about 5ish tonight. They only rub if you are braking harshly and you hit a bit of a bump at the same time, but it is only a little scrape, cornering and normat driving are all ok. As i say ill measure the tyer from the arch tonight.

Cheers mate :) pic would be great! so long as cornering is ok and normal driving is ok as I have to go slow over bumps anyways

so thats two votes for 205/40 - and one for 195/40

Here are a fiew photos mate the first two are the fronts and the last photo of the backs. The fronts are 7cm from arch to outer rim and the back is 7.5cm from arch to outer rim. I also put another photo about the extra rubber on the wall of tje tyer to protect your rim.
