is the fitting the same for 3 door and 5 doors?

i have a 5 door and was looking to buy a set off a 3 door

Exactly the same you will need to go to vw for the plastic screw retainers that go in to the sills they are cheap as chips as is the long plastic rail that the side skirts hang on to
