Brakes

Can anyone help? Are calipers with 312mm discs any different or are the discs and carriers only different?

Hi, you will need the carrier, caliper and disc.
Btw its a worthwhile uprade!

Just get a set of TT 225 calipers and carriers, either get reconditioned ones or some from a breakers yard. I've got them on mine and hold up perfectly both on the road and track..

Thanks guys so I'm geussing the calipers are different. Seen those kits although missed out on a set of brembos yesterday by pennies, gutted! Someone I know just crashed his cupra so I'm having his 312's. does anyone know if the Leon cupra 180 had 256 vented rears?

Don't think so mate, sure its just the 225 cupra r's
I got a set of 312mm fronts and 256mm rears from a Octavia Vrs for a good price then got them refurbished by bigg red.

I've got a set if 312 at a good price off someone I know breaking a cupra and he's adament they are 256 rear but I wasn't sure

If its got 312 fronts it should have 256 rears
