Hey guys !

Ive just recently lowered her all the way down on the front as I was alwways about 8 turns from the bottom and thought, to hell with it why not slamm her all the way down, but now when I turn the wheel I gte a horrid creaking noise like the spring turning round as the wheel moves? and just some funky noises coming from the front, so Ive ordered some shortened drop links of ebay, come this morning and am hoping this will fix the noise??? as am pretty sure its what everyone goes on about with the driveshaft noise when you go to low , just Ive never had any trouble with the coilies with noises??

Does anyone know what else the noise could be or have had trouble with AP coiles at the bottom??

And how easy are droplinks to fit?? pretty straight forward...?

Make sure the top mounts are tight and yes if you've gone lower it could be hitting the driveshaft. ARB droplinks are dead easy to fit, just two bolts and a straight swap.

I have ap coils screwed all the way down and mine makes that noise!

I think its the bump stops and need cutting out!

Yeah mate guna make sure top mounts are tight and lubed up!

yeah as Ive only just screwed them all way down im thinking must be something to do with going lower as never made this noise before! and cutting out?? could you explain please man? bit of a novice when comes to suspension bits

My mechanic mate came in my car today and said could be ungreased top mounts as sounds like it is creaking only on steering and over bumps at a small speed but it quite loud or he said your top mounts have gone??

How do you go about getting new ones ... is that something you can order from AP??
