Hi to all,
Im new to all this vw stuff but have been a follower of them for years so i have recently taken the plunge and got my hands on a 2000 V reg polo estate 1.6 and i want to make lots of changes but i dont know where to start??I have the spanner abillity and a workshop i just dont know all the tech speak.However i did purchase some coilovers for it at the weekend just hope they fit?So here goes what model polo do i own?a 6n or a 6n2?can i fit a polo gti bumper and lights straight in?what sort of wheels can i put straight on to make it lower?can i buy a quad headlamp conversion for it?Basically i need all the help and info any of you can spare me please or any unusual ideas for my polo that you can think of as im trying to do something a little different and would be gratefull if any of you have any spares i can buy new or used.Thanks again.

Your car is classed as a 6KV as they have the same under chassis as a seat cordoba albeit with a polo badge

A GTI front end will not fit however an ibiza GTI bumper may

There's a list of the common mods for the 6n in the FAQ, mite be worth a read if you're stuck for ideas.

you own whats known as a 6kv

It's more ibiza than polo tbh.

6n bodywork will NOT FIT.

6n headlights will NOT FIT

6n2 headlights will also NOT FIT

If you want quad lights, ibiza 6k ones will fit

As for different bumpers etc. The only ones that will fit are ibiza GTI ones.
