Any idea how you go about removing the dome housing. one of the map lights keeps blowing fuses. Can the housing be removed so I can take a look at the wiring.

If the car is under warranty why don't you get it in and they will do it all, just in case there is something deeper
Ive just had mine in as it kept blowing headlight bulbs on near side.
It turned out the wiring in headlight was knackered, so got new headlight under warranty.
Mine just over 12months old (Feb 2012)

Right the dome housing is held in place with four clips. All that was needed was a flat screwdriver and a little force (not too much though

). Found a faulty bulb holder, so down to the local breakers and no charge later alls good.

So while the units out it would be cheeky not to put some LEDs in

Quick how to as promised.
use a small flat screw driver to prise up to lense cover working from the map reading light,
Then simply remove the cover.
If you are just changing the bulbs simply pull the old one out and replace it with a nice new LED one
Once done its just a case of pushing the cover back on.
To remove the dome unit use the screwdriver to prise the sensor unit away starting from nearest you, just a little force is needed.
The unit just pulls down and hangs from its wire. leaving room to work with.
Use the screwdriver to unclip the lamp unit by unclipping the four clips, two clips on each side.
Put your hand behind the unit and pull down to free. Once you are finished it all simply clips back together.all done.
Hope that helps, I know its not great but it gives you an idea.
