Hi guys, New to the forum. loving all the threads so far. MY FAVORITE is the 320BHP 6Speed build :D . MY name is Idrees and i am from South africa.

This is my car
I've got this car for quite some time now
It started off stock. I need to look for a pic with the stock wheels but will start of with these :

I changed the original 16inch wheel to these G6 17inch reps which were a mistake coz it didnt look too good. sorry for the bad pic quality its all taken from a blackberry. anyways moving on I fitted on a set of 40mm springs to the car later on and it looked like this;

As you can see it didn't make a big difference the front lowered nicely back still looked stock, which annoyed me.
So finally saturday I fitted on a new wheel and now it looks quite good dispite the suspension height.
This is at the garage where i fitted the wheels'

This was later on on saturday
Once again sorry for the bad quality pictures and the dirty car. Was too excited for the wheels to worry about the insects on the front bumper

Anyways fitted in 50mm lowering springs lately and the rear still looks stock same issue as the 40mm, could any1 shed some light on this issue.
Currently dont have any engine mods on the car, hoping to get some advise from some of the experts on here as im not to clued up as yet on these type of things.
Current mods are :
Rotiform 17"
50mm lowering springs that really look stock at the back
Kenwood double din dvd player
Osram HID kit

Thanks
Any comments would be appreciated

Nice looking car mate, love the BLQ's but wuld definatly suit the car being lower, the only thing i can really suggest is coilovers for it to get it lower. Springs are great for a small cheap drop, but you dont want to have to be cutting them to get it lower. So coilovers are the way forward :D

You can get different rubber spring pads from the seat ibiza cupra for the top of the rear springs they give you another 10mm from standard

Nice looking car dude !!! A cheap drop will keep the rear end high , a drop like HnR will have the car nice and low all around. Join vwclubsa , its our local forum. There is tons of stuff for you to learn on there
