Hey!

I'm on eBay looking for number plate lights as I see ones on here with nice white lights and mine are yellow and gross.

But on the listings they talk about canbus wiring and off road use only!

Does anyone know how I can get a bright number plate set of lights without getting errors on my dash or being illegal?

The listing says "designed for new canbus wiring" but my polo is a 2010 so I probably have "older" wiring :S

you can do it by just changing the bulbs for the reg plate, i done this on mine and they are so much brighter than the originals and are very white aswell.

they are pretty much the exact same as the ones i have on my polo

I went to see if mine were LED ones as mines a 2013 mode... and it seems I have LED number plate lights on already!? They're a really nice tint of white/blue

I really hope I have those on to when I get my Polo. Would same me a litel money not to have to go and buy them.

I wonder if its a MY2013 change to have them come with LEDs as standard?
