Im really sorry if there is allready a thread for this but i cant find one that matches my problems.

I was out working on the polo on sunday and heard a clicking noise,it was the passengers side window regulator,i put the window up thinking nothing of it. took the keys out and went inside for lunch. However when i came out both windows where down and clicking, and i have no controll over them with any switch. Also the central locking has decided to stop working, i dont know if this is linked or not. I checked the loom into the doors and there are no broken wires so now im really stuck!

Any ideas?

Ive never had the problem with the windows but your best bet is to take the doors apart and see inside, id check for the wiring mostly, but its more likely to be the regulator messing up.

And with your central locking you should start by checking for hissing air, get someone to lock and unlock the car while you look for any leaks.
