Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find an answer on searching... has anyone fitted the kufatec auto light / coming home kit?

Is it a fairly straight forward job / simple job, I'm aware that a pin removal tool and VCDS/Vagcom are required but anything else that I need to be aware of? Also has anyone got or seen a set of the instructions translated into English? my written German is ummm rusty.
I assume the kit is wired to fire up the headlights and LED DRL's for the coming home function on fogless cars? Can the coming home on interval be controlled through the highline DIS or does this need to set with VCDS?
The car will be a blueGT + convenience pack and xenons when it turns up next month hopefully. So I'm hoping it'll be a fairly simple job and not the 3hrs Kufatec estimate.

I'm gonna install it when I get my Polo.

Right so basically the BCM is simplistic device on 6R Polo's and doesn't support the lights and vision menu as per bigger VW's and the two new relays define the lights on time rather than the BCM coding/firmware. Fair enough.

Any news with the install?

I'll report back on this in June once I've got the car. The funnily enough the bits arrived from kufatec on friday. I have a few other bits to fit at the same time.

RNS510 + factory bluetooth module are the other electrical bits I've got to fit. Might go for chrome tips but I'm going to wait until after I've got the car before deciding really fancy CF or black ceramic but nobody appears to manufacture.

Right anyone got a copy of the guide previously on http://www.benja.it/devio_en.zip? as I'm struggling to figure out how to remove the BCM from under the steering wheel. Wiring the auto switch was remarkably pain free.

Brilliant many thanks, now I only need the hands of gynaecologist to get into the space.

This is the most difficult, I recommend cutting the cloth tape to separate the connector. When you finish entering the pin renews cloth tape.

Funnily enough I had read that guide it doesn't cover the art to getting at the BCM and wiring and having now completed the wiring bar putting everything back I'd strongly agree with the conclusion, remove the drivers side seat completely from the vehicle. Speaking of which even with a triple sq bit I striped the head on one bolt preventing re-installation.
Took about 3.5 hrs to do this after I'd basically stripped the interior out to fit Bluetooth so I'd say you could do the install first time round in 5-6 hrs including refitting, second time round under 3 hrs is achievable.

If no one else posts a guide I'll write one up over the next few weeks covering how to do it, won't be able to test and reinstall all the trim panels, seats etc until the weekend now (subject to parts).
