Turbo failure - upgrade time

Hi guys,

My turbo has failed so instead of just repairing it I thought I might aswell upgrade at the same time.

The link below is what I'm looking at,

http://www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk/product ... -and-tuned

Should be enough poke in a polo and yet reliable on a standard engine.

What are people's thoughts on this kit??

Also what would you recommend to get to go with it for the best out of it.

I have a full turbo back, TIP, forge 007p

So I need a FMIC and a better filter as my Pipercross one is shagged. Anything else??

Andy

Just out of interest how many miles did you get out of your turbo before it went pop?

Just shy of 69,000 and its had a stage one map for about 3,000 of those.

Its now been booked in for the above with a few other bits such as FMIC and filter etc.

Seems quite early for the turbo to give up - what were the symptoms?

Glad to hear it's on the mend :)
