Hi all newbie

74k Silver Polo gti that ive had for a year now but only really started doin anything major in the last 2 weeks.
What it looked like When i got it





Wheels needed a serious refurb
Bumper scuffs needed repair
Rear quarter dent and scuff needed repair
Interior was in mint condition. Cloth interior
Nice little project!

Things planned
repair bumpers and rear quarter
Smooth front and rear bumpers
coilovers
16" wheels
Stereo Double Din

progress in the last 2 weeks. Im updating while pictures upload so bare with me its taking ages. comments welcome

Got the bumpers off and smoothed them just pics at filler/primer stage then finished.







Picked up these Alloys cheap in a poor state Dare 16" 7j 195/45-16 budget tyres wheels to refurb and tyres to be change

Wheels refurb
Sanded back all the corrosion and repaired scuffs primered then painted myself



Centre caps broken down and painted. look a bit more flush now


ALL DONE

ADDED ONE MORE LITTLE TOUCH

Wheels match the red interior now.

Picked up these while i was in the process of refurbing wheels

Cupra r seats

bbs wheels and interior sold already

So got the car lowered! ill take it lower once i see how it sits when i put the wheels on


Seats were easier to fit than i thought, the nice weather helped.

New double din is in also but now with the storage space under the factory stereo gone decided to relocate iphone to here. It like Vw made it just for my phone

Resprayed car myself in silver with holographic flake last month. not sure if you can see the flake that well in the pics. Hard to get a good pic of flake




but got bored of this come tues of this week and reprayed it again to this matt blue.



What do you think? I love it. to many silver polos around in my area.

Hi thanks for comments. Yes I am a painter by trade. Had a lot of people say they like the Matt blue this week it makes a change from Matt black. I did my friends e46 BMW 330 in the m3 frozen grey Matt colour that looks nice too.

Where are you based? Do you wanna spray mine?

Looki g good mate,not a fan of the wheels I'd get yourself on the Facebook page wheel trader uk. There's 100's on there. I'm a painter aswell by trade it's very handy aint it lol?

I think a nice bright center and polish lipid alloy would look immense.

What's going down with the iPhone cut out bit mate?
