Ok, so I'm looking at some MK4 golf alloys. VW Montreal's. They are PCD 5x100. Centre bore 57.1. ET is 42.

Will these fit? :) advice would be much appreciated guys :)

Yeah, pretty much the same as the original polo wheels.

Is it monty 1s or 2s you're looking at?

I love those wheels. I've purchase a set and install it on my New Beetle.
I've painted in dark grey:

On a Polo it would look like this:

I'm also considering doing the same to my Polo (if I cant get hold of a set of Boavista's)...

thanks :)

any ideas as to the costs involved? I've got the standard 15s on at the moment so I'd need recalibration of the speedo etc wouldn't I? :) sorry for all the questions I haven't done anything like this before

They are monty2s that are shown above and 16".

No need to recalibrate the speedo, you'll be using a smaller profile tyre with the larger diameter wheel so it'll mostly even itself out. If anything, you'll be 1-2mph out when you're doing 70mph so no need to worry
