Hi guys,
New to the forum, ordered a Polo GTI 3dr
- Deep Black Pearlescent
- Mulit function leather steering wheel with paddleshift
- Bi-xenon headlights
Due to arrive mid June and cannot wait - upgrading from an SEL 1.2TSI which I love as well, was considering a Fiesta ST but couldn't drag myself away from the VW quality!

Bah not another one, thought it was just me, although I did get the 5 door.
You'll love it, but it gets dirty real quick.

Those are the two options I should have gone for as well

Haha It's been on order for a couple of weeks now and I can't wait! How long have you had yours? Did you go for any options?

Picked it up first of March. Reversing sensors, the paint and 3 years servicing was all I went for on the options list. In hindsight might have picked up the 5 yr warrenty but it doubled in price after the car was ordered.
I do stupidly low mileage so really still running it it and being carefull, but it doesn't half fly when the turbo spins up.
Changed the tax disk holder for a simple minimalist black one, added a GTI footrest plate from ebay and purchased a personalised plate. other than that going to keep it clean and original, at least for the time being.

I like the sound of the GTI footrest I take it that it was relatively easy to fit?
I went with the service plan on my current polo and its definitely worth it so am going to do the same this time round.

Yep the plastic footrest has one plastic bolt at the top. once that's undone it just unclips, there's a lip at the bottom.
Match the metal cover up to the footrest, drill 3 holes and bolt it on with the supplied kit, then replace the footrest. takes 10mins.

Anywhere between 14 & 37 but its all urban and depends on how heavy my foot is.

That's what I was expecting - I'm sure the first few months your foot has been pretty weighty! My build week is next week so getting closer now!

Looks great! May I ask why you decided to part company with the 1.2 TSI?

Thanks!
Nothing wrong with it at all in fact it's an awesome car but I'd covered 38k in 2.5 years so didn't want to ruin the car for someone else but absolutely rinsing the mileage. Are you thinking of getting one yourself?
