Hi i am needing to replace my two front tyres running the standard monza 16inch. 205/45/16
I drive high mileage so looking for something to last (1000miles a month)
I live in Scotland so its all ways raining so a am looking for a good wet tyre that i wont need to replace every other month.
So just wondering what’s everyone’s verdicts are on tyres looking to spend about £120 a tyre
Thanks for the help

Uniroyal Rainsport 2's are widely considered the king of wet roads in terms of grip. Worth a look :)

Rainsport 2 also come with 9mm tread when new rather than 8mm that most others do

I cant comment on the uinroyals as I have never used them but I do roughly the same milage as you in my gti and im on the west coast of Scotland. I run Pirelli p zeros great in the dry but not so good in the wet. They where £260 for four when I got them last year but for a budget of £120 a tyre you could get Michelin pilot 3's which are amazing in dry and wet and always seem to milage wise
