hi guys im morgan and have just bought a polo gti

im rebuilding the engine currently as its smoking and was thinking of camming her when it goes back together. wheres the best place to get them and what cams should i go for? many thanks morgan

Shrick are generally the preferred cams.

cheers mate. would you say its worth doing? what sort of power could be expected? running induction, exhaust, and manifold at the moment

Youll gain no more than 10HP if your lucky

These engines sadly wont give much more unless you go down the turbo/supercharger route.

There's a Lupo GTI by me with an eaton supercharger from a cooper S I believe. It was actually for sale at early edition!
