Hi guys
Anyone had just their centre silencer removed?
And nothing else changed on their exhaust system?
Any vids? Or has anyone done it?

Can you recommend or can you say avoid?

Also how much did you pay?

I did mine but the existing system was a factory full length unit,needs an angle grinder to chop (measure twice-cut once) also a connecting piece was needed (cheap) form the dealers..

So all you did was replace silencer with a pipe?

Do you like the sound? Can you get me a vid by any chance???

I'm fairly certain the GTI exhaust has only the back box, the centre section after the Cat is just a straight pipe

Just buy a milltek

Center box isn't there on a gti..

Main car off downpipe then back box

Dip in the pocket and get a miltek

so there is a cat on the downpipe and a silencer on the backbox

If I get a system I'm going custom!

I got a custom longlife system on my polo when I had it, cost me £500 for the lot including decat which was interchangeable for when mot came around

Couldn't fault there work at all

What did you do about the EML

I had it mapped out at stage 2

can it be mapped out on a stage 1 revo

Isn't stage one revo just a generic map? You could probably have it done on a custom map, most people say custom maps are better anyways

right so i may need a new map

Can't be done on Revo stage 1, you need Revo stage 2 to map the light out. Or a custom Stage 1 map
