I have my heart set on 17" Compy alloys for my 9N

Please can anyone help me with some information on the following questions.

What width do the 17" alloys come in?

What tyre size would I need to fit on them (lowered 30mm)?

Any useful websites I could visit to buy new or used?

i think there 205's but im not sure

i have some TT comps to go on my 9n .
they are on the car at the mo with 225 x 45 x17 tyres but the car aint lowered or being used yet ,
i will be fitting 215 x 40 x 17 tyres to mine and hoping for around about a 50mm drop on coilovers.
i have seen them with toyo t1s 205 x 40 x17 fitted and i think they look silly as the rim was sticking out from the tyre ,
i want my rim and tyre to be at least in line with each other

I keep on looking on eBay all the time but its just waiting for the right ones.

make sure you know what you're buying!

there are quite a few fakes doing the rounds!

it might be worth pm'ing nelson wilbury to see if he has any contatcs for them (he works at an audi garage )

is there a polished version ?

Mine are polished, 7.5x17s on 205/40s. I had Toyos all round and they looked cool stretched. I now have some BF Goodrichs on the back and they're square with the wheel.

i've got a set just piled up in my spare bedroom ! then I swicthed to 18" RS4 alloys !

just the rims & centre caps... interested ?


fyi - they retail for £350 EACH (over priced TT shop)

although there are very few fakes if at all.....





and if you were wondering... those are fake bullet holes up the side !
