Has anyone fitted a LSD Quaffe or such like? Am doing track days now and struggling to put the 230bhp down smoothly out of corners.

i had the same problem, my mate has on his gti, says its a must have

as far as i'm aware the only direct fit lsd in our gearbox is a peloquin

Many thanks for that info, will look at who is importing them.

Quaife and Wavetrac also fit no worries. But for all three you have to know your ring gear size 113mm or 114mm.

I hear Wavetrac is the superior one

I have a peloquin in my tdi. For road use its a bit of overkill.

For track days it'd be a must have!

Contacted Wavetrac, do not do a LSD for the 02R box which is in the GTI. Would love to hear from anyone who is running a LSD in our cars?

Like I said before peloquin are the only direct fit.

Lad I know has one in his stage 2 ibiza and says it's the best mod he's ever done, and he gives his car death, bent 2 sets of kw front coilovers jumping the car on back roads

Are you sure our cars have 02r gearboxes? I can't see that anywhere on peloquins website, I thought gtis have 02j's...

02j sounds familiar, 02r does not so I would probably agree on that with you

You need to ask for the the O2J 5 speed and as I said regardless of which TBD you choose you need to know your ring size.

The O2R box is half O2J from the MK4 Golf GTI.

Ask Bill at Badger 5 if you don't believe me.
