ANYONE FITTED THE FORGE FMIC WITH A CUP FRONT BUMPER????

Ive had my cup bumper painted ready to go on, and it doesnt fit as it hits the bottom solid pipe on the forge fmic,
is there anyway around this, or will i have to get the intercooler modified?
dont fancy cutting the bumper after paying 560 from vw for it!
help please!

I havent used a cup bumper but ive had to hack into my own a bit :/ its easier to cut the bumper down than modify the cooler setup!

when i first joined i'm pretty sure i saw a post that said you had to cut into the cup bumper to get it to fit

Ahh i met you tonight at beckton, i will try and get some photos up asap for you to try and see if you can see any differances in the bumpers to fit with the forge frontmount

Forge and Seat intercoolers require modification to the normal bumper, does not surprise me that you have to mod the Cup bumper to get it back on.

cheers for the replys, just would prefer to modify the intercooler and save me cutting a brand new bumper, as theres plenty of room to play with

Yeh i took the grille out to try and get a better photo. I can fit my little finger between the bumper and pipe so it must of had a bit cut away from it???

Any luck with the bumper, you had any ideas how your going to get round it yet??
