which wheels to get?

just bought a white 6R SE (with foglights
)
any opinions on the right kind of wheel? was looking at 17's preferbly...any pics would be very helpful

+1 for the Boavista wheels as they look just superb, better than any of the aftermarket alloys IMO

Boavistas are lovely oem wheels but for the price they go for, there's plenty other options available

boavista's blend into the mist imo... dont like the look very much either
but each to there own!!!
get something 17 and around 8" wide and you are all good

I'm planning to migrate my Montreal II wheels I have on my Beetle into my Polo.
I've painted in a dark grey metallic. In the end it should be like this:
These are 16".

Lm's are a classic choice, can't go wrong there.
What about something from the audi range, seen a couple of polos on ttrs alloys and the look amazing. Or mercedes segin. Think a member on here may still have some for sale? His user name is phayth I think.

BBS LM are a great idea, I have them on my Polo 6r and have people complimenting me for them all the time, great in 18" still get full lock just need lowering 25/45mm

^^ they look good!...
i even considered 16's becuase what i want to do is put some slightly chunkier tyres becuase otherwise the ride is ruined!! i put 15's on my 9n3 yesterday and the change in ride is amazing!...so if i can get 50 profile 17's on a 6R id be happy...can i?

It hasn't altered my ride much at all i was driving on the original ones for 2 days and did about 250 miles and now they in the loft until i come to sell them
