My guess:
Wheels!
You're still on winter tyres... Hasn't spring reported in for duty yet in France?
Nice pics btw. It reminded me of how low your car actually is...

Looking good, grille makes a big difference on the Mk5. Are you planning on smoothing the badge recess on the tailgate ?
Get the OZ's back on mate
Nice scenery around there too.

Ash mate, as you probably know...
The rubbing can be sorted out with the 45 profile tyres too... But that'll cost more than rolling of the arches.
Nice clearance shot btw, no scraping issues?

hmm scraping issues well ive got a change in leval on my driveway of about 10-15mm and if i go over it at more than avout 15kmh/10mph then i scrape and i have scraping marks on the front of my lip evemn when i have the kw`s set all the way hard and yes im thinking about some bridgestone sp-03`s so that will prolly help at this height but i wanna go lower
hmm me thinks i should fit my skid plate soon

Thumbs up on the skidplate! Where'd you get it? Who makes one, Wiechers?
So what size are those bridgestones then?

omp but its not cheep by a long way and when it arrived it was wrapped in tape that said fragile WTF??? oh yeah and its mk4 fitting but it can go on a mk5 with a little work
the bridgestones are 195/45/15 and very cheep thru a contact so i may order tham soon and give/sell the gf`s to my dad for the merc 195/50/15

Good plan on the tyres.
So how much work is involved in fitting the skid plate then? Easy/hard/drilling/welding?

well th skid plate only fits with 4 bolts that go into the chassis leg but on the mk5 theres a mounting missing cos on the rest there is a stud that holds on the factory **** guard but on the mk5 there is 1 instead of 2 on the right

so i think ill drill and then use a self tapper

Sounds simple enough for the Mk4 then. Another item on the list...

the mattig i have is tuv aproved and is in the catalog @ 99 euros in abs (grrr mine is fibre glass)
as for the fogs yes there is a reason and the grills are remove cos the middle came out when the fogs went in and the left came out for an air intake and the right looked dodgy on its own as for the stock fogs i might be interested give me a price and well see
