Gearbox AGAIN

Jut a quick one, got to get another gearbox after going through my second one was wondering what the difference in ets and etd is? And if they will both fit and also is there anything in particular that can make these boxes where fast or have I jut been unlucky ? Thanks shropy it's a 1.4 16v if that helps folks
