Big fish tuning remap done today! 1.2 TSI R-Line

A big thanks to Jon who did the remap this morning on my 1.2 tsi R-Line. Top bloke! The difference is so nice, car pulls harder in every gear and even 6th gear now pulls really well. Been using it on the way back to overtake on the mororway and it doesn't feel underpowered at all. Plenty of torque throughout the rev range and it seems to go on forever!
£250 for the remap or £200 if you join vagcars forum. No print out infortunately as i didn't have enough cash for the RR. Will get it done soon though.

Economy wise it's not affected it too much. I was giving it some on the way back so it dropped from 53mpg to around 48mpg sitting around 80mph all the way home.

So, I presume it must be putting out about 125-130 BHP? I've barely ever seen a remap avaliable for the 1.2 TSI so will be interesting to see if this catches on...

Bft does custom remaps, it's not just a generic one like apr or revo

That's correct, the map on mine is suited to my car. He took the data logs from my car and tweaked those to give the extra performance. I'm hoping to see around 125 to 135 but who knows until i get it properly RR'd. Theres a guy around here near my end that does RR but the price is a little steep.

I'll be taking my 9n3 to see John when I'm ready for mapping.
He's currently doing my mates Ibiza, trying to push the 260+ boundary from the tiny k03s turbo!

Yeah, ridiculous car. Built to be driven properly, he bent 2 sets of kw struts from jumping on country roads

Madness! I could never do that to my car, probs cos i can't afford to get it repaired after a rally style jump like that lol.
