1.8t splitter valve?

Hi all I'm currently running a forged 007 recirc valve but I would love a splitter valve to get a little more turbo noise but have been told the 20vt engines don't like the splitter valve can any one confirm this is true or just a myth?

i have the forge 007
ive heard 20vt is this forge splitter R or nothing

My car has the splitter valve runs fine and gives a nice dump sound noise. had it for over a year no problems
