aua engine out ape engine in will it fit

Hi can anyone help I have a 2001 1.4 16v auto with the engine code of aua the engine is missing had it checked out cylinder no.1 the rings are worn, I have seen a year 2000 1.4 16v auto but with the engine code of ape will this fit my polo
