Clearance between strut

I've already posted this in the ordinary 6n2 section but thought it people here may have more experience so the question is
i I've ordered some 8 inch wide 15 inch wheels with an offset of 25 all round, does anyone run this size wheel and Coilovers? I've searched but can't get a definite answer whether they will hit the coilover strut or not.
My measurements say it should be ok but someone on here must run that or a similar combination.
Seems a bit of a noob question but just want to put my mind at ease.
