I'm Marco from Italy and I've new Polo 1.9TDi Highline...
Does any1 remove (and close it up!) the EGR valve on this engine?

For what I know.. in some engine removing the EGR is recomended for increase performance!
I think the EGR is just a recicle of gas to reduce smog....

I don't know about performance increase but it should keep your intake manifold cleaner in future.. I haven't heard about tdi polos though, some vag engine models might give error code if you unplug it completely. One thing you might try is minimize the use of egr with vag-com..
