Hi guys,

I need a new starter motor for my polo 6n2 1.0 mpi year 2000

I was wondering if I would be able to use a starter motor from any 6n2 including the GTI to replace my 1.0 with.

Would any starter motor work?

How would I know i'm buying the correct starter motor?

I believe they are the same mate. Most retailers have an exchange process whereby you take your old one in and get a new one in return.
